Improved Educational Attainment and Progress

The Partnership Vision for Education 2015 – 19 was developed with partners, including schools. It sets out the way in which partners will work together, share information and develop successful approaches to learning. There are six key elements:

  • School leadership
  • Achieving results in the top quartile in the Key Stage tests, including GSCEs and A Levels.
  • School readiness
  • Improving health outcomes to support improving educational outcomes
  • Young people have the skills to be work ready
  • Commission new school places from good or outstanding providers to serve growing communities

There is a specific partner board (the Partnership Vision for Education Board) responsible for monitoring delivery of the Partnership Vision.
