Site and Facilities Manager – Bedford Learning and Training Trust (MAT Greys Education Centre, Grange Academy, St John’s Special School and College. Kempston) - 09 September 2019 +

Salary:   Grade 10 pt 28 – 30, £12,883 - £13,653 pro rata pa
Hours:   15 hours per week (flexible), 52 weeks

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled Facilities and Building Services Manager.  The role would suit and experienced professional looking for flexibility around hours and days of work, in addition to leading our team of Site Agents.  The role would be working alongside a brought in property maintenance company to ensure BILTT school sites remain safe for our pupils, staff and visitors and our legal obligations are met.  Additional training will be given as required.

Could you be the person who will move our site services forward as the Trust grows?  We need someone who will:

  • Be a good team player with the ability to motivate.
  • Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Be able to demonstrate accurate budget monitoring/reporting and best value.

We are seeking an organised professional who possesses excellent communication and numeracy skills, who is able to assist with the smooth running of the Finance and HR function.  You must be able to demonstrate the ability to apply meticulous attention to detail and work to a high standard of confidentiality.  You must have proven experience within a finance role, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

You will assist with routine finance and HR administration, including processing invoices and the administration of the SIMs HR function.  Experience of working with PSF accounting software and an understanding of SIMs is desirable but full training will be given.
